Live in the present

Live in the present

We have all heard of, living for the future or living in the past. However, we never seem to hear or see people living in the present. We must revaluate how we are living our lives. Life is short on this earth and we must get the most out of it, but not to make more money, or to have a better job. Living is not for working or striving to get more, it is about “living.” Now I am not against making money or having nice jobs or even having lots and lots of money. What I am saying is that we are not living for the present.
Looking to the future is what we seem to be always doing. We seem to be looking for that “great success” in our future, waiting for our “ship to come in” or our “big break.” Looking for that day when we will “really” be happy. If this is the case, then we will never find ourselves living in the present. We will only be looking and living for the future.
The same holds true for the past. If we are finding ourselves looking back at what we could have done better or what we should have done differently, we will never be living in the present. Just living in the past and never seeing what is in our present surroundings. We will miss all that God has given us and all that we have “now” and can live for in the present.
A very destructive habit that we find ourselves doing is “futurizing.” We use up all of our time planning and looking to the future. If you think about it, if we are always planning, we are not living! What? What do you mean we are not “living?” I’m breathing and I am working and paying bills and going shopping and so on and so on…. Blah, blah, blah! Exactly, blah, blah, blah, that is what you are doing, not living, you are living for the future and/or the past mistakes. Start living “for you” now, in the present.
Live life for the life itself. You know when you take a vacation or have a long weekend and find yourself not thinking about work next week? You get some how caught up in the moment and find that you are really enjoying yourself and think, wow, that was a great vacation or wow, I had a great weekend not thinking about all the “stuff” I have to do next week or next month. You are living in the present. That is what I am talking about and that is how I believe we all can live our lives everyday.
Is it not funny how we are working for the future so that someday we will be happy? Well you know, if we are working for wealth so that we can be happy forever, forever will never come, nor will happiness. Our pursuit itself will become the purpose of our life. If we do get to a level we were trying to achieve, we will only be happy for a moment and will set our goals higher to achieve more and so the race is on. Matter of fact, the race has been going on our whole life. You have the control to stop the race and enjoy the scenery that you have been running by to get to the scenery that you were trying to get to. It is a cliché but true, “stop and smell the roses,” stop the race and look at all you have been missing. Life in the moment. When you are talking to someone, really stop and talk to them. Don’t just listen while you are thinking about were you have to go next or what is waiting for you around the corner, it will wait on you and/or be there when you get there. Live!

Now, you ask, “how do I do this?” First start by realizing that futurizing is a cultural problem and for one you are not going to belong to that group anymore. Realize that “now” is the only time you really have. I know that sounds too simple, but re-read that line again, “now” is the only time you really have. Think about it, if we continue to live in the past or the future, we are not living for “now.” You might just find yourself not living in attendance. Now participating in the present, not living at all.
This can be a vicious circle. Romanticizing the future, to believe that what is to “come to us” in the future will be so much better than what is happening right now. That it will be so much better. Things will be so much better when I get that “other” job. Everything will be just fine when I meet that someone special in my future. I just know that things will be great when I finish school and get out in the real world. Oh, things will be joyous when I have that baby. Always anticipating the future and using all our time planning and figuring out just how things will be “then.”
As the vicious circle continues, the expected future results become frustration. The future never seems to live up to your picture of what the future held for you. Then before you know it, the future has become your present and has been spoiled and again you are not living the life that you said you would like to live. That job did not turn out to be what you thought it would be. The man/woman that finally came into your life was not “the” one. You finished school and the “real world” was not at all, what you thought it would be or that baby you had did not solve the other problems in life that you hoped it would.
The circle continues. You have set yourself up for a big let down. The deflation or discouragement of the future becoming the present and it lets you down. It did not turn out how you said it would or how you planned it. In addition, in this happening to you over and over again, you are setting yourself up for depression. You might be one of those people that get so used to this “bad future” becoming the present so much that you start having the outlook in life of, “I just should not expect anything good to happen to me.” “My future just looks to dark.” “I always seem to fail.” Then you just find yourself turning around again and doing the same thing over again, looking to the future to solve yet another situation that you seem to be in and the circle continues.
Again, you are like the millions of people that live in this vicious circle, never changing your presents. Stop the circle! Step out of the circle and start living your life, not for the past, not for the future, but for NOW!!!!! Live for the present. Start your new life today. The past is over! What was in the past, stays in the past. It will not come again. You are bringing to a halt your life by living in the past. To get out of this “bygone,” you must give up the attitude that keeps you from living life. You accomplish this by changing your attitude for the present rather than trying to erase the past. Just let the past go. If you have to, take a day and just wallow in the past and then bury it. Put it down and let it stay in the past. I do not mean that all your memories from the past should be thrown away. Keep your memories in your heart, but get on with your present. Again, stop the circle! Step out of the circle and start living your life, not for the past, not for the future, but for NOW!!!!! Live for the present. Start your new life today.

Why don’t we say, I love you?

Why don’t we say, I love you?

Why don’t we say I love you to each other enough? I don’t mean that we walk around telling everybody that we see or meet, hey, I love you! I’m talking about saying I love you to the ones that we really love, our mothers, fathers, wife’s, kids and brothers and sisters, etc. The ones that we “do” love.
I believe we have built some walls of fear that hold us back. Or we are maybe ashamed to say it. Funny, ashamed to say I love you. We are very quick to say I hate you or what you do makes me mad. Huh, that rather seems backwards to me. I would think that saying mean and hurtful things to each other would make us feel ashamed, not I love you. It’s so simple to just let go and tell someone what you think.
Maybe it comes from how we were raised. Meaning, some families are close and hug each other and some families are the “shake hands” types. You know even the mothers and the sons and daughters. They seem to not be able to show their affection to one another. As for myself, I came from a “hugging” family. When we come into the house when we have not seen a family member in a day or two, we go up and hug them. It’s not as if we are dropping all of our guards down (not that we should have any to drop, this is our family) and letting ourselves be vulnerable. You just have to be yourself. Let someone love you, for you “do” love him or her.
When we see our friends, I mean our true friends, we don’t find many of us just going up to them and saying hello and giving them a friendly hug and say; “hey, how have you been doing?” Is that so hard? Is that so personal that we feel uncomfortable. We should just, feel. We don’t seem to feel anymore. We just seem to react, react to the daily bad news, the bad day we are having, the way our day is going. We do not control our days anymore they control us. We let what we see as bad things come in to our minds and “make” up our day’s format. We seem to only want to take in the bad. I know you are saying, “well, I don’t do that”, but you are one of the first ones to say, “on my way to work today, this guy cut me off on the expressway and really made me mad and it just screwed up the rest of my day”, or “My wife said something to me before I left today and it really pissed me off and now I just don’t even want to be here.” This is what I mean, we are not feeling anymore. We are just reacting. We are letting bad reactions from others, come in to our lives and keeping us from feeling. Try feeling “love.” Try feeling love for others. Try showing love for each other. Try saying, I love you. At least try saying it to the ones you really love.
All I am really trying to say here is, if you “do” love someone, why not tell him or her. We never know when the last time we will see someone. We may loose that opportunity to tell some one we love them. It’s not hard to say and it does not cost you any money. So try it.
And by the way, I love you!

I feel powerless to help in the worlds problems

I feel powerless to help in the worlds problems

Do you ever feel like you are powerless to help in the Worlds problems? I know we have all felt that way at sometime or another. However, this is the wrong outlook on this subject. I know that you may feel insignificant in the over all problems that we face on the planet, but here is another way of believing.
It is through the change of an individual’s consciousness that the world will be altered. The concerns that we have as individuals are also the concerns that we face as a group. The world is seeing a spiritual shortage that reveals our need to consciously get on the path of our revered nature.
The solution to this problem is for you and the world to overcome this spiritual shortage. When you start using your higher consciousness, you will be contributing to the renovation of the world.
Remember, you are not separate from the other Souls on the planet. You have the same energy of the people in England, Spain, Rwanda, and Iraq. Your God flows through you just as the Gods of others through out this planet. Once you decide to live through your higher consciousness, you will be plugged into the divine energy that God instilled in you before you were born. This will asset you to help transform the whole world.
These amazing changes will come on their own just as they will from within you. The Ego will fade by the bright light of your higher consciousness just as it will for the rest of the world. The changes that come from your heart, will find you living from peace and love, and this too will ultimately take place in a global fashion.
When the Ego calls on you and says, “Surely you do not believe that this world could ever be with out war?” You must resist it Roderick and live from your higher self. If you listen to your Ego, surely it will take you down the path of the collective Ego’s of others false beliefs. Beware, these are the same Egos (people) that will build more bombs and build more weapons.
Here is some information that your Ego does not want you thinking about; there are approximately. six billion people on earth. Around three million are at war with each other at some level or another. That leaves approximately, five billion, nine hundred ninety-seven million people who are not at war with anybody. These people (in their on way) are not interested in going to war and do not want to see blood shed of their loved ones or for anyone else. These are some numbers that your Ego does not want you to think about.
The Ego wants us to keep up the escalation of “we are better than them” and “I want to do things my way or no way at all.” The Ego wants to keep us scared and afraid that the world is in bad shape. This is a major part of why our social problems are in the shape that they are in today.
The Ego would like us to believe that this world is not capable of living in harmony with each other. If you also think this, you are living from your Ego and not your higher consciousness. The Ego is working collectively as well as individually to keep us convinced of our separateness.
Do yourself and your family and loved ones all a favorite, starting today, set an example for them by living from your higher self and do not run scared by living out of your Ego. Love them and love yourself.

I am better than you!

I am better than you!

Ever said that before? Ever heard someone else say that before? I am better than you. Sounds like something a small child would say doesn’t it? Well, chances are that you have said it many times before. Maybe not even aloud, but you’ve said it to yourself. You have felt that way before. Come on, you trying to tell me that you are not better than a murderer is? You are not better than a rapist is? Who are we kidding here, you are better than them and truth be told (by you) that you are better than most if not all of your co-workers in your office. Hey, you know yourself that sometimes you are better than your spouse is, if not most all of the time. She does not really know what is going on in the “real” world. He does not know what “you” go through everyday. You know you are better than them! I am better than you!
Our Egos would have us believe that each and every one of us is special and a one of a kind person deserving special treatment and attention from everyone, and mostly God. Our Ego is so quick to judge the appearances of others and to compare them to ourselves. We are so fast to compare what “we” have to what they do not have. We cannot get past the fact that we need to be better than someone else, so that we may feel better about ourselves. The Ego makes us think that we need another’s pain and losses to make us complete in our minds.
When we are living from our Higher Consciousness, we are more centered with God and know in our hearts, and spirit that all the differences in people are just surface interpretations. Meaning, we are seeing that the outside shell (earth suit) that we Souls live in through our journey on the earth are just that, suits of skin, but at the core of us is the universal essence that really matters. The same energy that is in you right now reading these words is the same energy that flows through me as I write them. We are both the same. We are one.
There is not a divided, split, or separate God for everyone. It is our Ego that tells us that this is true. There is but one universal God for all. God may come in many forms, Buddha, Allah, Jesus, or Abundance, but there is only one Universe and it is the Universe that gives us the path of Love. When we see each other for what we are, “Gods Love,” we see the fullness of God in each of us and we stop the comparisons. The concept that people should be judged based on how they compare to you, is equivalent to the idea that you are better in the eyes of God. Do you really think that you are better than someone else in the eyes of God? You may want to re-think that. If you believe that you are better in the eyes of God, and then you are implying that, you believe that God’s creations, unlike you in appearance or personality or even interest are errors, Gods failures. But how could God make errors? God made all and all is God. You are a reflection of God and so are your earthly brothers and sisters.
There is no room for doubt or feelings of superiority when learning to live from your Higher Consciousness and not from your Ego.
Lastly, when you view others, see them not as the “earth suits” that we reside in, but welcome them as the Spirit of God that they are. Come to believe that we are all one in holiness. Start loving yourself and others equally.

Poisonous Thoughts

Poisonous Thoughts

Poisonous thought is when we only have an outlook of bad thinks rather than the good of the Universe. Small annoyances can keep you from experiencing the closeness with God. Two (of many) examples that will keep you from a life being close to God are loathing and resentment. When you find yourself putting loathing or resentment on a higher level than peace, you then must know that your Ego is very much at work.
Being negative and uncooperative, you are sending out a signal that you are not interested in receiving love. Sending out negativity will only return negativity. When you decided to work out of your Higher Consciousness, your Ego will retreat and slowly disappear. This will make room for peace and love to come your way because you are sending it out from your higher self.
Another negative is when you are mistrustful or obsessed with suspicion. That is someone that believes that everyone and/or the world is out to do them harm. I would like you to become the opposite of this and have an outlook of trust. See the world and the people in your life as someone you can provide for, to protect, and to do right by them.
This is nothing more than, an attitude adjustment we are giving ourselves. We are just reminding ourselves that there is a divine oneness in all of us. When we work thought our Higher Consciousness, we are reminded to serve in the light of Love, not in harm to others or ourselves. Everyone we meet has something to teach us. We are here to learn and to learn from teachers. It is truly a scheme (our teachers) to become and to have a blissful life and to life in a divine state.
Start thinking of yourself as trusting, and then you will notice your Ego slowly slipping away from the control it has on you. New thoughts of joy and overall good feelings will replace the negative, depressing ideas that the Ego likes to keep you in bondage with, and you will be living from your Higher Consciousness. Now go on with your life and stop the poisonous thoughts.

I question your faith

I question your faith

You cry while I die, I question your faith. You believe in forever lasting life through God, but I question your faith. You know that through my death, I will life eternally, but still I question your faith. My Soul will live to live again, to love again, and to learn again. My Soul will live on and it will live through God to grow and achieve a higher Spirit. Still, I question your faith.
I question your faith because, you cry at my bedside knowing, stated above, to be true. However, why would you cry? You should rejoice and be happy that I am on with my Souls journey. I am to move to the next level of Gods plan. I do not morn myself and it is I that is leaving this place, why should you morn my gift that God bestowed on me? Why should you be sad at my departing from this simple step in the process of Gods journey with me, for He is with me now and will continue with me to my next step on the voyage of my Soul.
I still question your faith; for you somehow question the eternal life that my Soul shall continue when my earthly body dies. Even though you say different, you continue to cry at my side. Be with me on this journey. Be close to your God and rejoice with me in this flight. For then I will not need to question your faith.
I question your faith; for you do not share in the peace that your God gives you in knowing that we all shall live to die to live again. Our Souls will join with “The God” and forever life this journey of learning and growing to be as God, to be as One, to be as Love. Someone once said; “To be or not to be, that is the question.” The answer to this question is “to be.” We are all “to be.” We are all to be God as God is to be us. Your God lives inside you right now. Your God is telling you as you read this, that He is taking my Soul to be with Him and to be Him. For that is where I came, I came from Him. So why be sad at my bedside. For my God is leading me down the path that He intended for me, long before I was born to this earthy body.
I question your faith, do you?

Does God Play Favorites?

Does God Play Favorites?

God does not play favorites. Actually, you may not first believe this, but hopefully in time you will that no one is prettier or more beautiful than another is.
Now here is something I want you to really stop and think about, the only difference between a rose and a wild plant is judgment. Did you get that? Let us read that again. The only difference between a rose and a wild plant is judgment. There goes the Ego thinking for you again when your judgment persuades you that bodily exteriors of those judged most pretty in our society are of primary importance. Please remember, every time you let your Ego see others only as a sex object or as “just another pretty face,” that your higher self is not in play. It will be your Ego dominating you ever step of the way.
The opposite is true. If you are an attractive person and you find yourself feeling the need to compare yourself with others, you are then working for the Ego. You might look at some one and say; “would you look at that person, he/she is so ugly. Why are they even here with the rest of us? They don’t compare and should not be in the same rank as us.” This is pure Ego at work with no sign of your Higher Consciousness in sight.
You must learn that everyone and I mean EVERYONE, is on his or her own holy journey. They too are living the life of finding their God or their Buddha, or Spirit or what ever the path that they are on. Who are you to judge them? I guess you would want them to judge you. I believe not. This is where we all have to realize that we are all one. We are all on the same journey. We all maybe on different parts of the path, but that is ok. You would not have or want someone else to judge you just because you have not caught up to were they are on the path of existence. So learn to have love for all.
Once you have learned this, you should only send love instead of judgment. Remember, your Ego will be trying to talk you out of this, for the Ego is far too apprehensive to let you believe what you are reading. Do you not want a change in your life? Can you not feel something in side of you pulling at your heart or Soul, telling you it knows that there is more for you in life than remarking on what somebody is wearing or how someone looks? Is there not more to you than that? Is that what you were born to live for, to worry about what others think of you and what someone might say if you gave love instead of hate? Would you not feel love back? I am here to promise you, that if you will start giving out love, you will start receiving it back in more ways than you could imagine.
When you finally start living your life in this direction and disregard your erroneous self, you will stop comparing yourself to others and you will no longer be “working” for the Ego. You will be “working” for yourself, your higher self, and your true journey can begin.

In the eyes of God

In the eyes of God

No one on this globe is better or unique in the eyes of God, just as no one is non-special. We are all quick to judge everyone and we believe that we are better than someone else is. Thinking that we are more superior that others are is a big red flag that we are living from our Ego and not from our Higher Consciousness.
We must stop and see that God is in everyone. Maybe not at the same level as some, but nevertheless, God is in them also. We are all on the same path, walking to the same destination. Some are further along than others are, but still, on the same path. This is where some believe that we are reincarnated and come back to continue this path to completion. We are given many times over, to “get it right.” Our Souls come back to learn life lessons repeatedly to become closer to God. The Universe has all the time in the world for you to “get it right.”
Back to the point of “judging others”; remember to free yourself of prejudgment. Take an inventory of your thoughts and actions. Keep track of how much energy is devoted to prejudging others. See all of the personal energy that you spend on a waste of time believing that you are better that someone. They are of God just as you are and you are not any better than they are. See God in everyone.

It’s hard to argue…

It’s hard to argue…

It is hard to argue with someone that does not have a need to be right. When someone wants to argue, you can easily find someone, all you need is someone with an Ego that is out of control. When your Ego controls you, you must be right or you will feel threatened. As you are threatened, you will feel the need to prove that you are precise in your evaluation of life as you see it. However, what you are not realizing is, you are looking through your Ego and NOT your eyes. You are living through your Ego and Not your heart.
Therefore, you become the perfect person, the perfect person to argue with, because you are forever teaching the world, that you are right. What if you did not live through your Ego and start living through your Higher Consciousness? You might find that you would not need to feel right all the time and you would not need to argue with persons that must feel right to be complete.
Have you ever noticed how difficult it is to argue with someone who is not obsessed with being right? That person could be you.

Aligning with your Higher Consciousness

Aligning with your Higher Consciousness

Bring into line, the center of your Higher Consciousness is and will always be your constant obligation to maintain your connection. Again, we must look at the effort in which we need work in this area.
To start with, the area of conflict is something that we all experience in our everyday life. When we have conflict creeping into our life, we must resolve this with harmony. Turning the conflict into harmony is our way of dissolving the controversy. We must re-align ourselves with the Source, God, Abundance, whatever label you need to use to describe the almighty of all things.
Also, when you find yourself trying to avoid pain, please know this, you are in the need of healing. We all find ourselves running from the pain in our life and then telling ourselves that we just do not have time for it right now. This is us running away from the reality of those things that reoccurs repeatedly to hurt us and hurt us and hurts us until we realize that we are in need of healing.
As we continue with aligning with our Higher Consciousness, we must look at resistance of fear. Therefore, we day in and day out, not wanting to face our fears, what good does this do us? Well? What? Tell me. Stop and think about it if you need to and then tell me (tell yourself), what good does it do to not face the situation and just face our fears. Then, if we do face them, we can start the healing process and start aligning ourselves with the Higher Consciousness. We must start somewhere; why not start with facing our fears and getting over the fear of fears?
Maybe one of our problems is self-concern. Are we so self-concerned that we do not see that it is us that holds us back from aligning? Are we so busy blaming others for our misjudgment that we cannot see the self-trepidation that we put on ourselves that hold us back? Why not be self-aware? Be aware of our needs for Love and the need to Love others, Love ourselves and be the person that our hearts and our Spirit has been calling us to achieve. Self-awareness can help bring us in line with our Higher Consciousness.
One main point to be made that is sometimes forgotten or overlooked is “seeking external power.” What is external power? It is when we look on the “outside” for alignment. It is when we look for the material world for “that something” to make us complete. The problem with this is nothing in this material world has any value. It holds not real support for your God. Did Jesus “live” for the material world? No! He lived for Love. He lived for teaching us the true meaning of alignment with our Souls. So, if not external power then what? Seek authentic power. Authentic power is what we pull from within us. What we look for from within our hearts and Spirit. I ask you this, do you think when Jesus was on the cross, he was pulling from an external power, a power from this world? Or in your best judgment, Jesus was drawing from an authentic power from within that was always there (just as yours has been) and was placed there by God. Please stop right now, and take five seconds to think about this. I believe your happiness is worth five seconds.
A barricade that we find ourselves in is “Spiritual stagnant.” We find that we are not growing spiritually. Finding ourselves in a stagnate situation has a domino effect on us. The stagnant causes us to stop driving forward to our goal of Love, fellowship with others, self-awareness, and reaching for our Higher Consciousness. We must continue to make contact with the Higher Consciousness. Remember, this is where your ultimate calling will lead you. Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow, but this is where you are headed. Just look at where you have come from since your birth.
A quick point on “attaching to the outcome” is worth mentioning. When we attach to the outcome of situations in our lives, (when we are so very concerned of the outcome of something) we put our focus on just that, the outcome, good or bad, right or wrong. We let this over rule our entire lives. We take our attention off our main position, and that is, God has long planed out our destiny and we are not in control of it. We need to let go and let God, for we need to put all of our attention on God’s plan and not sit around and watch to make sure that God is not asleep at the wheel and letting all of our earthly “outcomes” get screwed up. We need to detach from “outcome” and know that we are on “the path” and that we have been on this path since birth.
Finally, another roadblock that we so kindly set up for ourselves is, “rearranging the outer world.” We are so very busy trying to rearrange the world “out there” that we fell to see that we should be concerned with “changing the inner world.” Changing the world that we have right here inside us. This is a world that we can actually change. We can put into motion our new beginning. We can start living the Spiritual life that we feel in our hearts and Spirit that God has placed there. There is a seed growing within us and has been since birth that will continue to show itself until we cannot suppress it anymore. Then and finally then, we will see Gods ultimate plan for us and we will ask ourselves, why did I wait so long before I opened the door and looked inside to see this wonderful gift “the seed” that God has planted so very long ago. Nevertheless, you know what, its ok that it has taken you this long to “let the seed grow,” for God has all the time and patience in the Universe. Remember, we are here to learn, learn to be Loved and give Love.
So start right now aligning with your Higher Consciousness. Is today not a great time to begin?

Cleanse Yourself

Cleanse Yourself

Purify your spirit in everyday life. Clean up your emotional outlook and become the spiritual person that you have wanted to be. I know it has been a lifetime coming, but it is here. That feeling that you have had in your heart and mind telling you, “There is more out there for me.” That is true, but where you are missing the point is, it is not out there, it is inside. It is inside of you. Nothing, I repeat, nothing out there is going to take you to the spiritual level you want and need to reach. It all comes from inside on you.
When you are feeling emotionally closed, become vulnerable. Open your heart and emotions to allow people to touch you inside. I know a lot of times you feel that you are right or righteous, but that is when you want to stop and think, and then become compassionate instead.
Sometimes your emotions become walled off; this is when you are to open your heart. Become one with your Universe and love all that is in it. Do not become controlling, become cooperative, bridge the gap between you and your problem with someone else, and even your on emotions. Become in contact with the good emotions with in you to cooperate with life.
As it seems, we are raised to be territorial from childhood to adulthood, from the toys that we played with to the possessions, which we acquire as adults. They tell us to “be careful” and not let others get too close to your possessions, for they may take them away from you or hurt you in some way. This is a great way of believing if you DO NOT want to ever achieve the Higher Consciousness of your spiritual being. You are to share your love and possessions with the ones you love and love the ones of this Universe. It is not my adage that you give away everything that you own, but to come to realize that loving your possessions more that you love others will never let you achieve your goal that has been calling from within side of you.
Oh, here is a big one, one I know that you have experienced before. Blaming others for things that seem to happen to you, how many times do we do this one? Matter of fact, how many times A DAY do we do that one? , blaming others for our life journey. You will NEVER get to your level of spiritual ness as long as this is part of your handy-cap. The only way of beating this Ego driven disease is to become self-responsible. Start taking responsibility for your actions and your decision. Stop with the blaming of others for the decisions that you have made.
All of this is so important for you to make that transition from your Ego to your spiritual side. Start today! This will not come over night and you will have to stick with it. I was telling someone just the other day that they must surround themselves with people that they want to be like. You must encircle yourself with what you want to achieve. A spiritual leader does not go to school to learn his/her trade and then not envelop themselves around their calling. They must live the life from which they are destining to live.
Start today, take one-step, and then another. You will achieve this goal if you let your heart open up.

About Me: I will never forget...

I will never forget, for it is the form that I live from today, where I studied at a small technical college when I learned about the Soul. Not from the school itself, but from an instructor I met along the path. This was not specifically religious learning; it presented itself as psychology. There was excitement in every new twist of perspective and a thrill at every new insight. None of it could be proved, and the pragmatic and academic worlds had little interest in what we were doing. It was all based on imagination rather than fact. Yet this learning meant everything to me. It gave me my life work, and it also taught me how to live.
The pursuit of mystical participation in life goes further than the materialistic quest for knowledge. Although mysterious teachings and tales do not offer clear answers, they do take us to a solid place where we can live with considerable wisdom.

Does this sound like you?

Does this sound like you?

So, your Ego does not own you, you say. Take a moment and see if this is a reflection of how your Ego works.
Do you do a lot of self-mention and bring the conversations back to yourself? Why not take the time to draw a person out in a conversation and discover what they thing and feel. However, no, you find yourself using every justification that you can to bring the discussion back to you. You bring everything back to your interest.
Are you a demanding person? A person that barks out demands at people and you make comments at restaurants and order people around as a way of implying that other people are second-rate to you. Giving your orders is a way to make you feel important. You want perfection from your family and co-workers. You never seem to listen to an opposing point of view. You are engrossed with your own concerns and career goals. Contend that everyone take note of your stories and hardly ever are interested in others.
Are you always correcting everyone? Openly pointing out errors in the mistakes of others and exhibiting your advanced knowledge. You like to correct people in their grammatical errors, improper use of the language, factual errors, good manners, memory lapses, and fashion designs. Moreover, you will do this in front of others so that you can look important.
So are you thinking while you should be listening? You find yourself needing to prevail in conservations rather than to converse with others. While others are talking to you, you are arranging your own egotistical response instead of paying attention to what they have to say. You do not react to their emotions and anxiety.
Do you ever build yourself up? You build yourself up at the cost of others. You find yourself using paraphernalia of discussion like, bravery, courage, bragging, and self-interest.
Do you want to get a gift when you give a gift? You do not give unconditionally. You except to get retribution, for the things that you do for others. You want to tell or to be noticed when you give to charities. You love others to know what you do.
What do you say to those that are smaller than you are? How do you treat those that are not as smart as you or someone that does not have the education that you have? On the other hand, you throw your monies around to show how special you are.
Well,.. is any of this you? Let us take this person that we call Jesus. Do you think He would revert to any of these actions listed above? I think not. I do not even care if you believe in this Jesus of ours. Just believe in yourself and believe that you can life out of your Higher Consciousness and not your Ego.
If you live from any of these listed above, then, your Ego lives on.

What you think of me, is none of my business!

Remember the title, “What you think of me, is none of my business.” Terry Cole Whittaker. If you must live from your Ego, then you do just that, but do not assume I will join you. God Bless You.

Self Help: Intimate Relationships – Family, Friends and Co-Workers

Intimate Relationships – Family, Friends and Co-Workers

Your avoidance of an intimate relationship is influenced by the Ego. The Ego can make you avoid all attempts to be loved by others. You will find yourself refusing to allow the possibility of an intimate relationship or the development of an intimate encounter. Living from your Higher Self will not allow your Ego to control you in your relationships.
When ever possible, take the risk of intimacy. Tell someone how you feel. Even tell them that you love how you feel. You feeling love inside you is ok. You may feel the fear also inside you at this time, but take the chance, tell someone how you truly feel. Just do it! Acting through your fear of intimacy, you invite your Higher Self to replace Ego’s non-loving fear tactics. Invite “your” loving presence to your life. Start loving to live and living to love.
Take the chance of saying how much you love someone. Tell this person how much you value them. Be vulnerable in order to get to get acquainted with him or her better. Opening your heart to others is the way of expressing yourself and you can defeat fear of intimacy. Find an excuse to show your love. Express yourself to him or her as often as possible. It is the essence “of you” that counts. The more you do this the more the fear goes away and soon there will be no fear. For you will not be living from your Ego.

Self Help: Verbal Attacks

Verbal Attacks

Do not let others draw you into a verbal attack. Show them that it is useless to engage you in such matters. Confrontation with others uses energy, and that is not something that you want to give up for an obtuse cause. When people try to use guilt to draw you in, just bypass on their request.
Come to know that you have left the bad and moved over (through your Higher Consciousness) to the good (God), closer to the Source (God). Knowing this, is allowing your HC to give you direction. Remember where you have come from, your Ego. Having been ruled by the Ego, but now you are living from the HC. Know in your mind, even say it to yourself, that you are no longer working out of your Ego, you are working toward the Source. You want to live through your HC. When people insist that you should feel, in the wrong, just decline.

Segment: You and Your Ego

You and Your Ego

The Ego and you don’t see eye to eye. Your Ego sees you much differently than you do. The Ego is not your best friend even though you like to live through it. You believe that the Ego “is” you, but it is not the real you. The truth lies within you and that is your Higher Consciousness.
Have you been driving your car and ever had an emergency vehicle come up behind you, and as you looked in the rearview mirror, you saw the words AMBULANCE written backwards? Let’s think about that. When you look in the mirror at yourself, you see everything backwards. Your right side of your face is the left side of your face. The left arm is your right arm. Please recognize that this is a rearward view that you are seeing and you make the apposite alteration.
Do you confuse reality with the figure that you see in the mirror? Of course, you do not. Ego is a lot like the image in the mirror, without the backwards adjustment. The Ego wants you to look for the inside on the outside. The outer false impression is the major obsession of the Ego. Your Higher Self is to reflect your inner reality rather than the outer false impression.
The solution to your Higher Consciousness is about you freeing yourself from the Ego supported delusion that the ultimate meaning and satisfaction of your life will be found outside of yourself.
The Ego is a wall that we build. People, (in the words of President Ronald Reagan), “Tear Down That Wall.”

Segment: Everyone Makes Their Own Decisions!

Everyone Makes Their Own Decisions!

Your decisions can kill you! Wow, what a strong statement this is. Your decisions can kill you. Let me say that one more time. Your (you and you alone) can (most likely will) kill (not longer in existence) you (you/your spirit). That sentence sorta catches your attention does it not? Moreover, why shouldn’t it. It is a statement that directly affects you.
Now let us turn the statement a little; let’s say, “your decisions can free you! Oh, now that sounds better doesn't it? Nevertheless, both sentences are true. True in that what we “choose,” is what we do. In other words, the decisions that we make are the roads to which we live. We all make our own decisions. So why would we choose to make a decisions to kill ourselves? Why would we make a decision to kill our Spirit; to kill our souls; to kill our hearts; to kill our light; to kill our god? For all of these are with in us.
We make decisions every day that make or change our lives. Why not make a decision to free ourselves of the dark road that we choose and put that decision to work to get us on the lit road. Lit by our own Soul.
I see people everyday that make bad decisions and then blame some one else for “their” own decision. Now I am not going to get into the “reason why” we as humans do this for there are hundreds of books that you can pick up and find out why we blame others for the thinks we do (one reason is called “Transference”). I do what to talk about why we should not make that bad decision in the first place and then we would not have to “blame” anybody else for what we choose. If we make our “good” decision, then we have placed ourselves on the lit road to our free spirit.
We must awaken to the “bright” side of our lives, not continue with this onset of making bad decisions, and then point the finger at others for the consequences.
To Be Continued…

Truly see the Universe...

To truly see the universe that God gives us, we must take, at least a small look, at Physics (Quantum Mechanics).

As we look at our inter-self, we need to look at our inter-world. Yes looking into the stars and the wonderful mystery of life within the universe is a breathtaking enjoyment. However, we need not to just look outside, but deep inside.
Carl Jung wrote, “The psychological rule says when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate. That is to say, when the individual remains undivided and does not became conscious of his inner contradictions; the world must perforce act out the conflict and be torn into opposite halves.”
The Nobel Prize-winning physicist, Wolfgang Pauli, put it like this, “From an inner center the psyche seems to move outward, in the sense of an extraversion, into the physical world…
If they are right, then physics is the study of the structure of consciousness.

The descent downward from the macroscopic level to the microscope level, which we have been calling the realm of the very small, is a two-step process. The first step downward is to the atomic level.
The smallest object that we can see, even under a microscope, contains millions of atoms. To see the atom in a baseball, we would have to make the baseball the size of the earth. If a baseball were the size of the earth, its atoms would be about the size of grapes. If you can picture the earth as a huge glass ball filled with grapes, that is approximately how a baseball full of atoms would look.
The step downward from the atomic level takes us to the subatomic level. Here we find the particles that make up atoms. The difference between the atomic level and the subatomic level as the great as the difference between the atomic level and the world of sticks and rocks. It would be impossible to see the nucleus of an atom the size of a grape. In fact, it would be impossible to see the size of the nucleus of an atom the size of a room. To see the nucleus of an atom, the atom would have to be as high as a fourteen-story building would be about the size of a grain of salt. Since a nuclear particle has about 2,000 times more mass than an electron, the electrons revolving around this nucleus would be about as massive as dust particles!
Now let us just stop and think about this for a minute. Again, we must take, at least a small look, at Physics (Quantum Mechanics).

Ego versus Higher Consciousness

Ego versus Higher Consciousness

· The opposite of Love is fear.

· Do not live from your EGO, live out of your Higher Consciousness. Remember, Ego teaches separateness.

· With each painful experience of feeling alone, apart or separate, ego tightens its hold.

· Your ego is your concept of yourself. What you “think” you should be. You are looking at the outside for what is in the inside.

When their Spirit goes home, what happens to your pain?

When their Spirit goes home, what happens to your pain?

You hurt as much as you love. If you love someone a lot, then you will hurt at the same level as you loved them when they leave their Earthly body and their Spirit goes home (In earthly words, when they die).
